I want to start playing jazz guitar but..

Question

I don't know any good jazz guitarists! Can someone give me some good beginner jazz tabs or jazz guitarist names that I can look up?

If you've never listened to any jazz guitar music and don't know any jazz guitarists whose playing you like and want to emulate -- what makes you so sure you want to play it????

And if you've never listened to jazz, and have no idea of how its supposed to sound, tabs will be useless to you. Besides which, jazz is all about improvisation, not reading off of tabs.

i am a alto sax player and i know jazz pretty well but i dont know any famous sax players either.  i did find some jazz guitarists for you though.
