  1. You might want to try running around your neighborhood a bit at a 10 minute/mile pace. Avoid hills if you are a begineer since they have a tendency to give runners without solid training injuries. Bring a friend or an ipod if you like.

If running is still uncomfortable, try a mix of walk/run, and you should feel a little better.

  2. listen to your ipod, really helps when you're running alone

  3. what i did was ran with friends when i began because they will set the pace and you dont want to seem  lazy around them so u really try ur hardest

  4. i think that u should start running for about 20 minutes every other day and then after about a week or so increase to about 30-35 minutes then keep doing that

  5. Take it slow.

Make sure you strech and every thing before

you get going and when running take it one baby step at a time you dont want to burn your self out

  6. well start out running about 2-3 miles (any speed that feels right for you) about 3-4 times a week and the next week you can go a little more and you will get in good shape. its a good way to start. hope it helps and good luck =)

  7. Run 3 miles at a easy comfterable pace. That is a good idea to run to get in shape for swimming. Listen to music and it will pump you up and make you keep going. If your breathing really hard slow down. You shouldn't hear yourself breathing. In about 6-8 weeks go 5 miles. Run 6 days a week. Take 1 day off to let your muscles get recovered and let your body rest. Do stairclimbing once a week. Run up a long stair as fast as you can. Then coming down do a nice easy shuffle. Do stairclimbing for 30 minutes.

  8. Start slowly.

Like half a mile a day about five times a week.

After you feel like you've started to progress, start jogging about a mile.  After you feel you've reached a comfortable pace and distance, you can just continue to jog that much every day.

  9. You want to start off at a good solid pace so since you are a beginner You should probably run 3 miles a day at 10:00 minutes a mile and once that pace becomes easy lower it a minute or two and see how you feel, and if the distance becomes easier add two extra miles a day, and you should take one day off from running a week  so that you can rest your muscles. Also runners need a lot of sleep so try to go to bed earlier and eating a good balanced diet.

  10. start....NOW ! ! !!

just kidding, do it in the morning or in the evening befor bed, you dont want to do it in this wonderfull 100 degree weather,,,,,you can make yourself sick or even die in the heat ! ! !
