  1. uhm yea i run all over my house since i realized that this was what happened to me so i run like all the time and I'm in track and cross country so yea just work at it like i did.

  2. Here is the link to the Couch to 5k program. It gets you from running nothing, to running 3 miles. And it does it gently and gradually. My boyfriend used it and a year later is training for the Chicago Marathon. It works.

  3. Google "couch to 5K" it is an interesting program that works to get you ready for running 5K's.   I haven't done it but have friends who have and they loved it.

  4. Just take it slowly.  At first, run for 3 minutes at a time.  The next day 5.  Then 10, then 15.  I never run for more than 15 minutes straight without taking a break, but trust me, you can do it.  The more you run, the more in shape you become and the easier it will be.  Soon enough, you'll be able to run a whole mile without stopping, and not feel exhausted, i promise!

  5. Running isn't about being fast, just go really slowly as long as you can.  Then walk quickly.  Go for at least a mile, until you can run the entire time.  Then start building up from there.

  6. You just have to exercise more and run longer gradually. So you simply have to gain more endurance. And yes this is normal

  7. You need to slow down when you run. The best casual running is done when you can carry on a conversation with someone next to you. If you cant then you are still running to fast. Take it very slow at first and gradually add distance and speed. If you are not in running shape it can take awhile to get in shape. Take your time and stay with it and eventually you will be able to run for miles.
