I want to start selling cakes to people ....will I need a permit or somthing?

besically I want to post an ordinary ad just so I can start selling cakes to people for extra money.I said this to my mum and she said that our house will have to be inspected first, and I cannot just 'Start Selling' cakes online.

will I really need my house to get checked out or can I just do it?

yes just like any business you will need a buss. licence a resale licence an inspection will probly happen for health reasons the city will want to see under what conditions you are doing this and im, prett sure you need some disinfecting material for your stuff u use to cook first so look into it cause if you get caught there are some MAJOR fines

your house will need the same inspection and business licensing as a bakery or catering business...

Selling cakes on line? How are you going to get the cakes to the person who orders it in one piece?

You will probably need a permit to sell. No one will inspect your kitchen.
