I want to start shaving, but am scared....

Question

Ok..Well im 15 have a mustace not thick and will not let it get out if hand well i have shaved like my chin if i C like 1 hair or my sideburns...But these only mayb like 3 hairs there..But idk i just think that..since the mystach is more visible thicker that i should ask to shave cuz i dnt want to shave it nd then have my parents B Like woa u shaved it..i mean id rather them know so they dnt make a big thing, ik my dad wont make a big thing as if he does i will just shave it anyways But...i also think that asking 2 do so is exremely embarrassing..thats Y i dnt know how 2 ask..and am posting this ?.

If you have an older brother you should ask him to help.

If not, then you will have to learn by yourself.

I'm 16 and shave once every two days (as I am a guy that has facial hair like a 20 year old) and it ain't hard. I taught myself.

You can cut your mustache with scissors if you dont feel like shaving yet, the mustache is not going to dissapear that way but you can reduce the thickness and visibility,

if your are not ready for a sudden change.

Just dont cut like crazy or its just going to look wierd. (top to bottom or bottom to top) try not to cut your lips though

If you want it all of:just shave it ,but if you want is smaller :use sciccors to cut it or a trimmer:that is what I use:works great.

            Hey i had the same exact problem but i did the wrong thing.

The right thing is to go up to him and say something like can i borrow

your razor or something like that, he'll know what your tlking about.

He wont make a big stink about it and he'll prob tell your mom and she

wont say anything after.  i just took my dads and shaved and even

then my parents didnt really say anything.

So just ask him he wont make a big thing about it.

APPLY GEL.. BRUSH IT TO HOLD ON THE SKIN TO HAIR..

Uhmm... even though I'm a girl the way that I asked my parents I was just like "Hey mom, can we get me a razor sometime" Yea...it was embarrassing but it's not anyone was there. It was just me and my mom going "Ohhh my little girl is growing up so fast!!!" -barfs- Anyway, parents are always embarrassing when it comes to their kid growing up. No one else is going to be around and I don't think that your parents are going to come to your school and be like "OUR SON SHAVED!!!" Well, anyway...hope you get that mustache shaved :p

I hear for guys it's not that bad,

I was talking to my brother the other day and he said at first he was just really careful and slow then it became a breeze, he only got a cut when he got used to it and started going fast and being uncareful.

Dude whats wrong with you?? I remember when I was lil I couldnt wait to get facial hair, under arm hair, pubic hair..I started growin everything but facial when I was in 5th grade & believe me I showed off like crazy.haha I started growin facial hair when I was in 8th grade everywhere.. dw i had the same problem wen i was young n started growing that lil bum fluff mustache i didn't no how to shave n my old man wasn't round to show me just shave d way u feel comfortable but trust me wen u get the beard goin on its a pain in the *** waking up every morning n having to shave
