I want to start surfing regularly but i dont no how to check if there is good surf..?

Bells Beach is a great spot close to you.  Surfline is usually pretty reliable on predicting when good swell is going to come through.  The first link is to Bells.  The second is to the Torquay area in general (of which Bells is a part).  Check them out, it looks like Sunday and Monday are going to be firing.

The best thing to do is use swell and wind charts from the met office website.
