  1. What do you mean by "tricking"? I have practiced the martial arts for nearly 41 years and have never heard the term used to describe martial arts of any kind?

Edit:  I can't believe the answers here. Do you guys know what the person asking the question is asking?  Or is it just an opportunity to say that they should be studying the style you study or like?  I'm missing something here. I see this trend over and over.

  2. Taekwondo is good one to start with that's what a lot of tricksters use, but there's also Capoeira and Wushu. You may also want to join a school that offers extreme marital arts. And if you further want to enhance your skill in training for tricking, you should do some gymnastics.

  3. Modern wushu.

  4. By tricking what do you mean...it it's what I think it is, you should definitely go for a combat art, learn how to defend against weapons, armed and unarmed attackers.

  5. Probably start with Tae Kwon Do since it emphasizes high kicks. Even though you want to excel in tricking, it's best to have a strong foundation in a martial art so you would actually be considered a martial artist.

I have nothing against tricksters. I give them a lot of props for what they can do, but they should actually have a martial arts background and have trained to defend themselves, otherwise it's just gymnastics.
