  5. ask your parents

  6. It really depends on how you dress when it comes to make up decide what style you are and then it will be easier to find out what type of make-up you should wear.

  7. i first started when i was 15. My friends took me into boots to the natural collection sectin and i bought mascara, eyeshadow, pencil eyeliner and a cover up stick. It all came to under £10 and it was really simple to apply - you put the cover stick on your blemishes and rub in. Then you apply the eyeshadow. I had the mink/sable duo which is neutral. You put the dark on the inner corners of your eyes and blend into the lighter colour which you put on the outer corners of the eye. this defines your eyes. Then apply mascara, this is pretty hard to describe so youtube is probably your best bet. just remember to wiggle it into your lashes for best coverage. then apply eyliner to your lower lashes and waterline.

    i hope this helped

  8. if you have an older sister then talk to her about it. That's where I learnt how to do mine.

  10. I usually start w/ foundation. I usually go to the store and put a little onto my hand to find my tone.

Then I usually put on eyeshadow. I have hazel eyes so I use certain shades. Google your eye color. Then I just put on liquid eyeliner which is amazingly tricky but worth it, then some mascara, and regular eyeliner.

Youtube is amazing to help aswell.

  11. ok so this is what i do.. first i use a powder cover up and put it on all of my zits and red marks. then i use a bronzer i usually do it right under the eyes and then spread it out and then down by the chin and spread it out and then on the forehead make sure you go all the way under your chin so you dont get makeup lines. after than i use a black eyeliner and do a thin line on the top of my eye lid. its okay if you mess up because next i use gleam (eyeshadow) from mac. if you did mess up with the eye liner just put more of the eyeshadow on the eyeliner because the eyeshadow will blend in with the eyeliner so it wont look as dark. after the eyeshadow i use a very black mascara only on the top lashes.. i really hope this helps!!! you can also go on to youtube.. that is what i did and i had an older sister to show me how. just make sure you dont put to much make up on. Hope this helps :)

  12. go to you tube for instructional vids

  13. it depends on what style you like or dont like.

1st of all by yourself a good moisturiozer , then go to a good shop and buy makeup you want to where.if you want to wear foondation buy it , eyeliner buy it blusher bronzer etc.ill tell you how i put on my makeup.

1st i put on my moistuiozer and rub it in all over my face and leave it a second or two so it drys in.

then i put on my fondation.i use elizabeth arden.its dear but it lasts along time and it makes your skin look really good and its natural.just dip your brush in it and apply from your nose to cheek on both sides and then from forehead to chin.dont do on the neck just the face.ask someones help that works in the shop that you will buy the make up from they can tell what colour suits you and that way you can blend it the fondation in to the colour of your neck.

if i didnt have a good sleep and i am black under the eyes then i use some concealer under my eyes do make me feel and look more awake.

then i curl my eyelashes.you can buy a eyelash curler in most make up shops.my eyelashes are really straigh so thats why i curl them.it makes your eyes seem bigger and nicer aswell and you look more preety with them curled.

then i apply my eyeliner.i would advise you to buy pencil eyeliner its easier to apply and it looks nicer just get your finger under your eye and pull the skin down then apply the eyeliner above your bottom eyelashes.it makes your eyes stand out more.then apply my mascaraon my top eye and bottom eye it gives it more define look and makes your eyes stnd out more.then i apply my eyeshawdow i usally do creams and brown cause they suit the looki go for and they suit my face.

then i put on lipgloss for a shine.you cn choose lip balm lipstick if you want.i choose lipgloss in a clear colour.

then if you wish add bronzer or add blusher on the apples of your cheeks.

    some tips.

use a fondation brush for your fondation they make it seem more natural than your fingers or a sponge.

curl your eyelashes before your mascara as if you have mascara on them before you curl your eyelashes could break.

feel relaxed before you apply your make up.

shop around for the mascara you like, the eyeliner you like and the fondation you like.

try out different things till you find what you like

    be brave

    best of luck michelle

  14. Go into Body Shop for a lesson or splash out on going into Mac - they do some really good professional lessons

  15. It is best to keep it natural and light. To get started I would get mascara in black, a black eyeliner pencil, a bronzer, not real dark, like one shade darker than your skin tone. You can get some high glossy lip gloss with a light tint of red, or natural. If you want blush, go with a ligh chestnut color, or a light pink / peach. If you want eye shadow, go with a basic color like nude, biege, light pink or light peach. You'll need a few makeup brushes to apply the makeup. First you would brush on lightly the bronzer, make sure it blends with your natural color under the bottom of your face, then brush on a coat of mascara, top and bottom lashes, then brush on a light streak of blush going along the cheek bone in an upward motion, toward your ear, then if you put eye shadow on then apply it lightly on the eyelid, right to the crease with the darker shade, then from the crease to under the brow with the lightest color, then take a tissue or something and wipe over your face softly, blending everything together, then pat softly the eyes, so the colors blend also. If you choose to wear eyeliner, apply a light line on the top lid, right where the lashes meet the lid, then wipe over to blend, then apply your lip gloss. If you want a color for your lips, I would get a light pink, or something that says nude or natural, so it doesn't look painted or like a clown. Apply a second coat of macara, and you are finished. As you get more experienced, then you could add more colors.

  16. If you don't think your parents or a good friend/ relative would be able to help then definitely you should go for some professional lessons. It's usually the stores who sell makeup who do them but if you haven't anywhere then perhaps you could ask if they could include it in PSE at school or ask a member of staff if they could suggest something.

I never was able to ask anyone and I am now 70 and have spent the last 50 years pretending I didn't want to wear makeup when it was just that I was too embarrassed to ask.

  17. Look for pictures of makeup styles on people with the same eye colour and skin-tone etc. as you. Find a style you like and think what the main thing is.

For example, I wear mascara and eyeliner that defines my eyes, and red lipstick. 'cause I like it. =]

Don't start off with expensive brands. If you've got a good relationship with your Mum, or an older sister, ask them what makeup they think would suit you, and which makeups are better. I find personally for eye makeup I really like Rimmel.

And don't try experimenting with eyeliner before you go out, it took me a good half hour to get my eyeliner looking good the first time I used it.

If it's your first time wearing makeup don't go heave with a liquid foundation, If you really want one, use a simple powdery one (Mums tend to have these) and avoid blusher because on your first time you'll look clownish. Use an eyeliner pencil, rather than liquid, and just wear light lipsticks (if any) and lip-gloss, until you're confident with the way you want to do your makeup.

I've been wearing makeup for a while and I still don't use liquid foundation or blusher.

  18. Ask your mum or another close female friend.  They'll love showing you.  I've seen this before.

  19. well it depends what shade you are for eyeshadow and mascara is that hard just dont make it clumpy and i personally think eyeliner is ugly but thats just me. but back to eyeshadow

pale- go with a goldish color

tan- i am tan and i use pink a lil brown and gold

    dark-light brown,with blue or pink

  20. get a foundation that suits your skin tone. Make sure its no darker than your skin & that you rub it in well, use a foundation sponge. you should get a fairly good quality brand (Rimmel, Maxfactor, etc.)
