Start with your own experiences. Those are the ones you understand best. TD

Always take a walk out into nature.  Watch what blows in the wind; what looks different than it did yesterday.  Watch the sky, the leaves, the flowers, the dirt, the people.

Always carry a writers' journal...note anything that comes to mind while you are strolling.  Expressions on faces, conversation you overhear, the way people walk, the way flowers grow.

As was mentioned above, it is best to write about what you know.........get to know more places and things.  Good luck...

good writers can make a story from scratch, just get the ordinary and create the extraordinary

i guess if u start writting of the things you know best about your self... there's a start. no one knows that better than you.

other topics common ones would be love, peace, the world, life it self... now if you looking for styles of writing... i dunno  but just write how u feel the writting should be...

usually what I do is:

1) Take  a stroll observe my surroundings of whatever interesting aspect there maybe...

2) I reminisce my memories

3) I watch movies, you can invert the situation...

4) Literature, what better way to write one than to read one right?

Have an open mind, ask yourself what if...? If....? Could....?

Ask yourself because your the only one who can answer the question you'll be satisfied with.

I guarantee this advice...Hang out with drinkers and fishermen. They have some of the wildest stories and they tell them in ways that never resembel the truth. They are great storytellers that know how to add flair.
