I want to study in America but dont have GCSEs?

As i wasnt able to take them at school due to personal problems i am now 29 and want a change of career i would like to go to University in America but not sure of what qualifications i would need so that i could be accepted

  1. You'd need to email the college you are interested in and ask.

    Without even having GCSEs you're way down on the normal expected standard. You'd be expected to have A levels or equivalent, just as you would to go to university here. But as a mature student, you might be able to substitute life experience for some formal qualifications. This is going to be individual, though, you'll need to talk to someone direct. If you just want to apply, you'll need A levels, or an NVQ level 3, something like that.

    Cool, it's similar to our exams in the Caribbean - Jamaica.

    I passed mine and the US is where I'm heading for college.

    Just do your GCSEs. Many of the colleges in the US accept GCSEs. Just make sure you pass them. It's not too late.
