I would prefer it to be in the city. Some where avarage in population, not too big.

It would be really helpful if anyone could tell me where psychology is the greatest.

  1. I would suggest that you apply to Universities, and if you get in to one or more, then make your choice.  Psychology can be somewhat tough to get into a competitive program for.  So if you plan on a specific place and then dont get accepted there, well, all the plans fly right out the window.

By the way, I dont think that you just study neuropsychology.  The way that I understand it, you earn your Doctorate in Psychology.  Then after that, there is a whole separate procedure to earn the neuro designation.

  2. University of Colorado (in Boulder, Colorado) is suppose to have a great psychology program. I have a friend looking to attend there next year.

Boulder has a population of about 100,000 and with the surrounding areas its probably even higher, so its pretty decent sized. I would recommend my University (Texas State University) but I'm not sure how our Psych program is.
