  1. You can get a 'degree' as a paranormal researcher online, but it's not recognized as an accredited degree, it's more like 'send us $30 and we'll send you a piece of paper with your name on it.'

If you seriously want to investigate then you want to go into physics so you can work with so called electromagnetic phenomenon and 'energy' but I think you'll find that the more you learn about it the more you'll see that there are other things you'd rather investigate that have real evidence supporting their existence.  But if you did decide to still investigate ghosts and stuff, having a physics degree will go a long way in making people take you a lot more seriously than the guys on scifi.

  2. You will need a good scientific background,

but ultimately metaphysics goes into areas we

can only sense and guess about. I spend most

of my time with ancient history and try to learn

from experinces of the past. Hypnosis is also

    an important tool.

There is no degree. Just begin to study on your

own and build your knowledge and skills. If you

can find a mentor so much the better.

Are you really sure you want to do this ?

Metaphyscis and the paranormal are nothing like

what you see on TV. It may look like fun but it's

usually very slow and boring... until it suddenly gets

very frightening and dangerous. And once it does,

there's no place to hide. Locking the door won't

    keep the bad stuff out.

Finally, it doesn't pay off financially either. You'll be

needing a seperate income to buy the groceries.

If you still want to do it, I wish you luck and advise

you to have a lot of spiritual strength you can draw

    on.

  3. paranormal is not a proven science. Remember science is something that can be tested over and over and over again and achieve the same results. This does not occur in paranormal. To my knowledge there is no college that has a major in paranormal.

  4. None...it is not a recognized discipline (was once, but research showed nothing)  (don't believe everything you see on TV) (psychology professor)

  5. The more college you take the less likely you are to subscribe to the paranormal. Frankly speaking it doesn't exist that's why there are no longer any serious studies into it. Also you will never be in danger and can only scare yourself while "researching" the paranormal. Has any one ever been hurt? No, unless they fell through a floor at a broken down house or got bit by a snake. Only the normal can hurt because it is the only thing that exists. Sorry to hurt your career path selection but when you have a job that involves reality making real money you'll thank me.
