  1. Do a course search on http://www.ucas.com

Look at The Times Good University Guide, but there will be other things you will want to consider other than how prestigious the university is, such as the sort of place you want to be living in for several years.

Neither Cambridge or Oxford do dentistry.

You're looking at the University of London (Kings College and Queen Mary), Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield, Glasgow, Dundee, Cardiff, Bristol or Birmingham, most of which are well regarded unis.

  2. Princess gave you a good list, as someone else said visiting is by far the best way to pick a uni.

  3. Oxford and camebridge dont do dentistry (my friend is looking to do the same thing!) i know that kings (in london) is very good, cardiff, manchester.. cant think of any more off the top of my head! but if you go onto the times web site and compare the universities for dentistry you will see how the rank... but open days are a must before you apply to any! they give you a good feel for the place!!

    Best of luck!!!

  4. The old line of reasoning was Cambridge for Maths and Sciences (This would include Dentisry) and Oxford for Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences.

  5. Newcastle
