I want to sue Blue Dart company. What is the procedure? Can anybody help me?

Hi,

Blue Dart is one of the leading company in courier but they have posted courier to wrong address. It was the ocassion of Rakshabandan and i was waiting for Rakhi from my sister but due to Blue Dart i dint got rakhi in time and not even in right address. They have just played with my emotions, so can any body tell me should i sue them? And if yes than what is the procedure to do it?

This is  a fit case for consumer court. You approach any consumer council and file  a complaint with them.  Before filing a complaint a write a letter to the Blue dart management complaining to them about the deficiency in their service.

This amounts to deficiency of service for which you can file consumer complaint against the Company with the District Consumer Forum of the District where you people assigned them to deliver this couriers or where ever there main/branch office is located & claim the damages & cost for their deficiency of service for which they were paid fully by you people.

Consult with a good attorney and furnish him with the full facts of how the courier delivered your mail to the wrong address.You can either file a case with the Consumer Court or file a suit in a regular court.Both you and the courier being Indian,you may not win any substantial damages for the mental agony caused to you by their "playing with your emotions".At best you may get a nominal amount plus costs.It is not worth the effort.Instead you should meet with the CEO or someone fairly senior in the organisation and put up your case personally and seek redress.Anyway Good
