I am fairly long with all clubs, (280 driver, 255 3-wd..) and fairly straight. I can't afford to buy a top ball (Pro V1) since I do lose them occasionally. Looking for a quality ball at a good price. Thanks

  1. I would recommend the Titleist NXT Tour.  It is one step below the ProV, and about $1/ball less expensive.  It gets good distance, has a slightly lower spin rate than ProV, a little harder feel off the putter, but not real hard feeling like some low end golf balls.

  2. I like the Titleist NXT Tour as well.  Also, the Nike Distance (green box) or the MOJO have good playability.  Good luck.

  3. buy off ebay....you can use the same balls you use now but get used good quality ones for half the price..

I bought a 100 callaways war balls for right at 70.00

about 25 of them had tree marks or been rubbed down from a lot of play. I am really impressed!!!

    good luck

  4. Callaway warbird or big bertha. cheap and very good balls in my opinion. The top flight D2's are also cheap and very straight off the tee.

  5. Apparently you are longer that half the pros on tour so you shouldn't be losing the number of balls you claim. But check for the "ball hawk" at your local course. He will have every make available, at very reasonable prices. Don't be afraid to bargain.

  6. If you want to get a ball that has great distance get the Top Flite Freak..they are 16 bucks for 12 balls
