I want to take a road trip but have no one to travel with?

Hello, i like to travel, especially by road but have vision problems so can't drive. I also am very much an introvert (socially challenged), so i don't know anyone to travel with. If you were in my spot, how would you attempt a cross country trip alone?

If you have vision problems and cant drive, how will you attempt a trip alone ?  

Maybe you should take a train or bus trip.  Bus trips are a lot cheaper than driving a car... or close to the same cost.

Take the train or join a tour group (Globus or Cosmos).  Lots of fun and you meet people.

heck no. i wouldn't. But, just go on craigslist and post a want ad for a travel companion,. and see what goes down.

Traveling alone is fun & freeing.

If you can't drive then I think a train is your best option (personally, I don't like buses, they're not as roomy & you can't get up and move around in the same way you can on a train) & if you can afford it, get a cabin in a sleeper car. That would be ideal!

Actually, with gas prices so high, train travel may be more affordable than car travel now!

Hunt around the internet & travel sites for the best deals & packages...they will be out there!!

Ok, now I want to take a train trip!!!

most hookers are pretty bad drivers, but some can drive quite well, ask around and have a good time.   With your vision problems you might be able to get away with a slightly uglier (and cheaper) hooker.

If i were in your spot i would try to join a club or something and me people in it and see if they have the same interests in you.

You should definitley look into taking a long train ride.  It'll be a unique adventure for sure, and some of the best vacations I have ever been on I went by myself.  Traveling alone is extremely exciting, liberating, and you get to do everything that YOU want to do.  There is no need for a traveling companion all the time!

Have you thought about going by train or by bus?  You would still get to see scenery, you might could arrange stops at some towns along the way, and you wouldn't have to worry about driving.

Take a bus trip, that way you don't have to drive. Or you could look into going by train, there are vacation companies that have cross country trains. My brother and his wife did it last summer and really liked it
