I want to take an auto mechanic class?

i'm in high school and i want to take a class for auto repair or auto mechanic or something of the sort. the thing is, my high school doesn't offer anything like that. i'm about to be a senior so i don't want to switch schools, because the closest school that offers that is about an hour away. i was wondering if i can take a college class or something being only 17. i didn't know if a college would let me or if there are night schools or something you can go to to learn about that stuff.

A lot of schools have partnerships with vocational schools or technical colleges (along with regular colleges) for those things.  Ask your guidance counselor if that's an option - you may be able to get high school credit for it as well as credit at the school you're attending!
