I want to take another kind of dance?

Well we have our dance recital this weekend and during rehersals i really started becoming interested in modern.

Right now im only in Jazz.

i love it.

but i want to do another kind of dance next year. (ill still do jazz next year)

i really only have experience in jazz. well i did tap for one year but thats it.

i have never taken ballet.

I was looking to take modern or musical stage.

which do you think?

i know musical stage is pretty much like jazz, but next year i just want to be in two proformances.

Is it to late for me to even start a new kind of dance?

im 15.

and ive been doing jazz for about 5 years, and im doing pretty well in it.

No it's not to late. Infact, you SHOULD take ballet. Ballet is the basic form of dance and it's where all th rest come from, so it will help you d better in the other ones and to be more gracful in jazz.

tap is super fun... you might want to give it another try! and lyrical is a mix between jazz and ballet, it gives you the beauty of ballet without the extreme stict and perfectness and you still get the funness (is that a word lol) of jazz!
