I've decided to stay at home with my 8th month old son instead of going back to work. In order to make more moeny I want to take care of children around the same age as my son. I've heard that there are laws about this, especially regarding the number of children under 24 months old. I just can't seem to find these laws. I'm from New Brunswick Canada. Could someone please help!

  1. I don't know the laws in Canada but I would think the liability insurance and licensing would be high cost items.

  2. you need to be licensed and you need a health certificate. your home needs to be inspected that it meets fire codes. you also need to under go a criminal background check and be fingerprinted. and if you do open a daycare, you will be subjected to random checks.
