The pool doesn't have to be heated. Babies may not like the cold water at first but they get used to it.

If you want it to be heated don't go more than 80 degrees.

If the pool water has a lot of chlorine in it.  Then swimming in that water may be bad for your baby's health.

Swallowing pool water will most likely make your baby sick in the stomach, even if it's not a lot of water.  And if that water gets into your baby's eyes.  Then your baby is not going to be happy about it.
