you don't have to but there are a lot of scum bags that sit in normal seats, although the view is better because you can sit behind the goal. the family stand is at the side

you don't have to, but would you honestly want a 7 year old child to sit a few seats away from someone who might be foul mouthed, and i'm not sure about arsenal, but the family enclosure at my favourite club is cheaper than the other areas of the ground, so the ticket prices is another thing to consider as well

No ground specifies that young kids HAVE to sit in the family stand but if you dont expect him to be exposed to lots of foul language and the like

I think you can sit where you like but getting a ticket will be you main problem unless you're a member. I know that tickets for this wednesdays game vs FC Twente are on general sale so anyone can buy them. This is quite rare as most games are usually sold out to members.

Well it kinda depends on who they are playing, ya know!  I would recommend it if  you are not wanting him to see the "real side" of futbol.  But if you do not mind foul language and drunk blokes all over the place and want your son to learn from the true side it would be ok.  I have seen some crazy s@*t at games and it is all good if your not in the middle of it.

Sit where you want  to sit because at the Emirates Stadium you can see the pitch and you need not worry about your own safety.

If it is bad language you are worried about find another sport because it is unavoidable I'm afraid. Good choice of team though.

No but if he sits in the family enclosure he pays less for his ticket, if he sits elsewhere he pays full adult price.

Don't know what Gem's on about the shelter is the same all around the ground only if you sit in the first five front rows would you get wet if it rained.
