we do lots of things together on a weekly basis such as swimming, going to the park, mother and baby groups and soft play hour but i really want to do something different as what we do is a getting a bit samey! i know hes only ten months and wont remember but it doesn't matter as long as were spending time together, he loves animals so was thinking of a Zoo but the one near us is very hilly, he is an inquisitive little boy and is easily pleased, i am in the Felixstowe , Suffolk area and do drive. any ideas would be fantastic, thank you!

  1. The aquarium! My 6 month son is fasinated by the colours and movement! London is good or brighton, or you could go to an aquatic centre! We've spent many an afternoon in our local aquatic centre!!

  2. If there is a park near to you, it'd be a lovely day out. We live in New York City and our 11 month old loves Central Park.

An aquarium would be very exciting for him, he'll love the fish there.

  3. Take him to an art museum or gallery. Put him in his stroller he would probably enjoy it. Or a childrens museum.

  4. Hiya - Aquarium or farm would be 2 very fun days out for him. Lots of colourful things to see, maybe stroke the animals in the petting part atof the zoo. Enjoy yourself!xx

  5. go to a little petting zoo rather than a big one. go onto www.netmums.com and find one in your local area. i brought my son to one when he was around 10 months old and he loved it. it was situated in a park and afterwards we went over to the play ground and he really enjoyed himself on the swings and around other children.

has he been to the beach yet? he'll love to explore the sand and maybe even dip his toes in the water. my son did try to eat the sand but he only did it once lol

  6. Are there any Aquariums near you? They love that at his age...or a visit to the woods is pretty special too.

  7. How about a farm instead of a zoo?  there should be one in the Suffolk area, you could take a picnic.  Or go to some woods and pick lots of leaves, flowers, pretty stones etc. and make a nature collage when you get home.  Have fun!
