  1. dont. youre gonna get robbed

  2. if it's a finance contract, you're probably ok. You do need special permission if it's a leased vehicle. Check with your lender.

  3. See site below for carpermit info.  If you are going to only Baja or Sonora, or less than 30 miles into Mexico, you do not need a permit...otherwise you do.  You will need a letter fom your finance company on company letterhead giving you permission to tke the car to Mexico...they definetly ask for this when you get your car permit.  See 2nd site for my favorite Mexican ins. co.

  4. I don't think you have problems to cross the border while going to Mexico, they'll ask you a fiance of 80 dollars at the Mexican customs and a valid insurance. Perhaps you'll have problems while coming back to the states, US customs suspect of everything, they think AlQueda is coming from Mexico in trucks.

  5. what part of Mexico if your deep into Mexico i suggest you go armed, and if you have goods in your truck be prepared to be robbed...get out of country insurance

its best to fly ...or bus

  6. If you have a lien on the truck you have to get a notarized letter from the loan company to be able to take it into Mexico if it past 30 miles from the border and a permit past the border towns. If you are just within the border towns not 30 miles out of town they only check your name and I.D and registration don't carry the title with you.
