Question:

I want to take off all wall paper and paint wall, will it be easy? (I have pic of my wall paper)?

the pic shows the part where i ripped off, any suggestions on how the job will be and wat tools i shud get?

  1. A great way to remove wall paper is to use 1 part fabric softener to 3 parts water- apply that to your wall paper with a sponge. Let it soak in well. Use a scorer, which you can purchase at any hardware store and score the paper then start to peel.  It makes light of  a tough job!


  2. It looks pretty glue-y. I ripped off the wall-paper in my room and painted and I love it now. Although the drywall is kind of bad in some places and I couldn't tell because of the wall-paper, so you might want to watch out for that. We used a steam gun (you can get them at Wal-Mart) and it helped a lot. Just keep a trash bag with you and put the pieces in as you go. It was a ton of help. I wasn't very good at it, but my parents had more patience and experience than me, so they whizzed right through it. It does take some time, so be ready to live through a half-wallpapered room for a while.
