First of all why do you want to take revenge. You know revenge is not always the answer! If you truly feel angry at this person why not just take it out on a stress ball or something?

Generally speaking I would say don't take any c**p from him or her next time, learn to react in the correct way at the moment someone does something bad to you instead of mulling over it after the event; there's a fine line between being temperamental and rushing to judgement, and being a strong character so it's your choice whether to err on the side of caution or not - that depends on your personality.

The trouble with successfully taking revenge on people is that it is very easy to go too far and - if you're normally a nice person - you'll more often than not feel guilty about it afterwards and it's not easy to undo the damage.

I think that forgiveness is the ultimate revenge. Think about it, for years to come they will be still thinking about how they acted and you will be carefree. Plus, forgiveness is a gift to yourself, as well. Be kind to yourself and take the higher path.

Do you really, really want to take revenge on someone. I can tell you how. Be as friendly and loving to them as you can, it will drive them mad. They will be waiting for the blow to be struck, but they will not know when. Keep it up for as long as it takes and then strike. I am not advocating violence, but there will be a way to get the revenge you want.

But I should point out this very old, but very true saying. "When you go looking for revenge, dig two graves". If you have any smarts about you at all, you will figure out exactly what that means.
