So I took the SAT Reasoning Test this June and got an 1150 between the math and critical reading. I would like to take the SAT Reasoning test again but there is only 1 SAT test date left before December and I have to take the SAT II's because the school's that i'm applying to require you to take them. The school's also ask for all your test scores by December. Is there anything I can do to take both by December. Or can I tell the schools to hold for one of my test scores?

  1. You can take the test in October, November, and December. Go to collegeboard.com for all the dates.

  2. no, unfortunately you can only take either the SAT's or the SAT II's on a single test date. I suppose you could send in your current SAT scores and SAT II's from the next test date by the December deadline and then send in updated scores, but I don't know if they would be counted.

I would suggest you take the SAT II's on the next test date and take the ACT with writing (a comparable exam w/ different dates) and send that, rather than retaking the SAT's.
