I love to quilt.  There are many great books and Internet sites to help you.  It is a great gift to keep for yourself or give to others(they love it).  There are books that suggest easier projects then a bed quilt.  Check out sites that do reviews of quilt books to help you decide what you like.  Appliquequiltdesigns.com has instructions of making quilts as well as reviews of quilt books.
