  1. You'll have to choose if you want to teach elementary (K-4), Mid-level, or Secondary.  To my knowledge, there's no degree for K-12.  Even if you get your Bachelor's in Biology then Master's in Education, you'll have to choose a level.

  2. a bachelors degree in biology and a masters in education??

  3. If you choose to teach k-5 you will be teaching more than Science.  You will have to be able to also teach literacy, math and Social Sciences.

  4. You don't mention where you want to teach. Every place has specific requirements for K-12 teachers particulary in the area of education coursework.   Sure you need to have subject expertise which you'd get in a BS and/or MS program in science, but you also need to have instruction in the art of teaching and curriculum.

A good source of information is to ask someone who teaches science in area where you'd like to teach.  If you don't have any contacts, search on the web for a discussion board of biology teachers.  They'll give you a wealth of information.

Check with the department of education in the state, country where you'd like to teach to get a better idea of what  the requirements are.
