Can any one recommend good schools to work for with good working conditions, benefits, pay etc...

Im moving to japan next january and i want to start planning it now months in advance : )

  1. When I went to teach in Japan 9 years ago, you had to have a job secured FIRST to get a work visa through the Japanese Embassy here.... is that not true anymore?  There are a handful of international language schools that you can find online like AEON and the JETProgramme... just type in "teach English in Japan" in Google to start.  Of course, I'm assuming you're talking about going there to teach English and not something else.... Are you fluent in Japanese?  Do you already have contacts there and a place to live?  A work visa is still good for only three years there...  it's a good thing you're working all of this out now before you hop a plane... Japan is still a very insular country when it comes to foreigners living and working there and I've honestly never known of anyone who did it (legally) without connections to an inside entity.  Good luck!
