I want to teach my 5yr old the?

Looking for an animation which takes my child from his locale (say on Google Earth), thro his city, state, country, continent, world, earth, solar system, galaxy to universe..... thus explaining to him the concept.

Sounds like a good idea.  Keep in mind that animation and virtual experience may be unreal to him.  Start with simple concepts.

Get some atlases, encyclopedias, etc. and teach him the basics first and as he learns them and gets older, go to the more advanced systems like Google Earth.

Another thing to think about is when he gets to be in 4th grade, consider signing him up for the National Geography Bee. You can also go online to www.nationalgeographic.com.

go to the library, read books, look at maps, show him a globe, take him traveling, answer  his questions, ....

Google "Powers of 10" to find the famous film that does what you request, except that it arbitrarily uses Tallahassee FL as the locale.

Google Earth can do zooming for your locale.
