  1. good idea!

waiting on the world to change by john mayer is a good one too: its a bit about the war and whats going wrong in the world but a good catchy repetitive tune for kids.

  2. Go ahead...that's a good idea.... Give Peace a Chance...

  3. I agree, keep it fun and repeat it all through the day.

  4. Imagine is less a song about peace than a song about apathy.  If no one cares strongly about anything there is nothing to fight or die for.  Not something I want taught to my children.  A man that stands against nothing, stands by for anything.

  5. I kind of agree, with someone who said "imagine" is not really about peace..I think it's a depressing song. What about "I'd like to teach the world to sing, in perfect harmony...." or there was an old one that went "we're a rainbow made of children, we're an army singin a song...there ain't nothin that can stop us, rainbow love is much too strong. "

  6. Repetition is the way. And play it while they're working or playing.

Write it in segments on chart paper and teach small parts at a time.

  7. Jack Johnson has some beautiful songs about friendship and peace on his CURIOUS GEORGE cd - the sharing song, with my own two hands, we're going to be friends, and more.

Jurassic Joe has a nice dinosaur song about singing together.

  8. theres a song called :Dont laugh at me and  it teaches pplz how other ppl r mean to each other to show not to do this cause its something that huts everbody

  9. Children will learn best when it's made into a fun game/experience. I took my violin in to my work to teach 2 year olds how to sing different songs such as twinkle twinkle little star etc. The children were so surprised and excited that they sang along perfectly to the song after i had played it to them slowly a couple times. If you or anyone you know plays an instrument, surprise the children with it one day and see f it works for you.

  10. i say go ahead do what yiou think is best for your case it would be the best thing to do.

  11. I'm not sure of the title, but there is a song that includes these lines:

Let peace begin with me, let this be the moment now,

Let peace begin with me, let this be my solemn vow.

To love each moment, to live each moment, in perfect harmony.

Let peace begin with me and let it begin now.
