I want to tell my Friends moms that I want to quit being home school.?

I want to quit being home school but i want keep friendship i have firends.im learning anoth but i miss school what should i tell my firends mom

well, i know the way u feel. this is my fifth year being homeschooled and i still don't like it. i told my friends and their parents and they took it pretty well. just be honest and be true to what youre saying and i'm sure they'll take it well!

you should just state the facts as you have in your question.

tell her shes a good teacher and you have enjoyed learning with her. tell her you like your friendships but you miss school and wish to return. You will keep in touch and visit as much as possible but you think school is best for now.

I don't understand why you have to tell your friends mom?

Do you mean how to explain why you don't want to be homeschooled any longer? You don't have to tell her any of it, IF someone asks you can just say that you reached a point where public school makes sense for your situation. If they keep bothering you, they aren't very good friends. If an adult keeps bothering you, tell them to call your mom and discuss it.

Sometimes it helps to write things out and then make adjustments in the letter so that you don't hurt her feelings.  I homeschooled my 2 girls and got to a point where they needed more then I had to give.  There is an element of bonding that occurs between the homeschool mom and her student which is not always easy to give up.  I think that if you gave her a letter she would be able to read it privately and release her emotions and then you could both talk...that letter would serve as an icebreaker.
