Question:

I want to test my car's exhaust and know how much of anything that is polluting. Is there a tester I can buy?

Like the probes the officials use, maybe? I want to test how much of everything, not only CO2.

  1. there's nothing available to the public that would let you test this,most tune up shops have these though and for a very small fee they would test it for you,if you really want to know that would be the cheapest way to do this one,good luck.


  2. something like that, i think you have to take it to an emission center to have it tested. i never saw any of those tool for sale to the public.

  3. You can probably get it checked out at a mechanic.  I know some states have mandatory emission testing so they must have the equipment.

  4. To my knowledge thats all you can test for. It's actually Carbon Monoxide___CO not  CO2
