I want to test my car's exhaust and know how much of anything that is polluting. Is there a tester I can buy?

Like the probes the officials use, maybe? I want to test how much of everything, not only CO2.

there's nothing available to the public that would let you test this,most tune up shops have these though and for a very small fee they would test it for you,if you really want to know that would be the cheapest way to do this one,good luck.

something like that, i think you have to take it to an emission center to have it tested. i never saw any of those tool for sale to the public.

You can probably get it checked out at a mechanic.  I know some states have mandatory emission testing so they must have the equipment.

To my knowledge thats all you can test for. It's actually Carbon Monoxide___CO not  CO2
