  1. how about sending her and a few friends to a spa for a few treatments-they have party deals at most of them. she may like that more than watching all her friends drink and have a great 'ole time when she can't, plus I'm sure she can use a little relaxation time. then maybe just a nice cake and ice cream party at home for close friends and family.

  2. A few more details would be helpful, but depending on your time line, budget, and size of the party.

You could do something alcohol free since she is pregnant(its her b-day, so lets not put her out of the loop), just make it casual and fun.

No ballons or ne thing cheesy, she is turning 30.

  3. With things maybe being a little hectic at home ( I am 8 months pregnant, so I know), and cleaning not really being on the top of your list, why not pick a nice restaurant and invite people to come for brunch or dinner? Then you won't be left with work to do before and after and you can both enjoy. Just pretend you are taking her to a restaurant for dinner, the two of you, and then when you get there, all her closest friends ( and family ) are there!

  4. That could take some doing.

You need friends. Arrange for them to bring in something like party trays and platters of cold cuts, cheeses, and vegetables.

Does your wife like flowers? Bring her a bouquet. Have her favorite music playing.

How big a party do you want to throw? If it's bigger than your house can handle, you might try asking a local church about using their gathering hall.

    Anyway, good luck!
