The part where the wall meets the tub are stained. Is there any paint for showers or some type of white cover up to use to cover this up? I've tried scrubbing with brushes and no luck.

  1. Is this rust stains?  Is it red or reddish brown?  Try a product called CLR.  Soak some paper towels with the stuff, and plaster them to the stained area.  Leave them there for 15-30 minutes, and then scrub the spot.  I've used this for rust stains with good results.

You can find CLR in the cleaning products aisle of most grocery stores.

  2. Here is something about painting over tiles, I know it can be done my friend did so. Beside painting you could also find some nice tape or whatever (like a sticker) and put that on the wall around the tub where it is stained.

  3. If you are just concerned with the actual joint between the tub and the walls, then you can scrape off the caulking (the stuff that forms that joint) and apply a new bead.  You can pick some up in any hardware store (such as Lowe's or Home Depot) and they can offer some tips on how to apply it as well.

Just be sure to not scratch the tub or the tiles when you remove the old caulk.
