  1. Well, You could trust me and give me your money or seek the advice of the bank where your  money is parked. The second advice is better.

  2. I was just going to mention western union, or use a bank transfer..

  3. tell it to the bank . sorry I'm not sure with my answer. I never does it before.

  4. If you have a bank account in the 'Neatherlands' (sic) just go into the bank there and ask them, it's possibly the cheapest way.

  5. If you are in the Netherlands at the moment going into your bank & doing an International Money Transfer is the quickest & easiest.

If you are in the UK & have your cheque book with you from your Netherlands account you can just deposit a cheque into your UK account. It will be exchanged into sterling.

Both of these methods have a fee, the International Money Transfer would be quicker.

  6. What do you mean by 'cash'? The rest of your question suggests that you don't mean actually taking out notes and coins and putting them into your UK account (as you might do by posting them in a parcel). If you mean what I think you mean, then ask your bank in the Netherlands to use telegraphic transfer to get the money to you in the UK. It will cost a few £s, but it's very fast.

  7. I think you need a bank account in the Netherlands. Do you have any family there? Or a friend. Get them to transfer the money over - that would be quite easy, all you need is your IBAN number and your BIC code. You can get this info easily from your bank, it even shows on my bank statements (i'm with Halifax).

I can't see a way of sending cash otherwise. You may just have to bring it with you.

  8. You need to set up an international transfer with your bank, either by letter, on the phone or in the bank.

    You will need your :

    Bank account number,

    Account Sort Code

    Bank Name

    Bank Address

    BIC/SWIFT code

    the IBAN.

Your can get this info from your bank in the UK

    Hope this helps
