  1. If you are staying in a hotel, the best thing to do is to contact the hotel and see if they participate in the airport shuttle. If they do, they can arrange bus transportation directly from Bergamo airport to Malcesine. This is one example with information: http://www.hotelalpinomalcesine.it/doves... I'm not sure of the cost of this option, but a taxi for 1 - 3 people runs about 90 euro (£70; $140).

    Other options:

From Orio al Serio (Milan Bergamo), there are buses that go to Brescia 5 times through the day (10 euro one-way). There's information here on times: http://www.sacbo.it/Editorial/newsCatego... You could take a bus from the airport to Bergamo station or Milano Centrale station and catch a train to Brescia or Desenzano (info on the same link). There are more buses from Desenzano to Riva. Train schedules and prices: http://www.ferroviedellostato.it/ferrovi...

There are buses from either Brescia or Desenzano to Limone or Riva del Garda. the bus schedules are here: http://www.trasportibrescia.it/oraristam... The site is in Italian, but just click on the .pdf files to get the schedules. The top one is Brescia, the bottom one is Desenzano. You can get a boat from Limone or Riva del Garda to Malcesine. Limone is directly across the lake from Malcesine.

You can also take a boat from Desenzano, but it's a slower trip that way. boat schedules: http://www.navigazionelaghi.it/ita/gar/n... (right now it's the spring schedule. The summer schedule will start in a couple of weeks and they'll post that one then.)

You could also go to Verona and catch a bus from there to http://www.apt.vr.it/orari/index_orari.h... You want the schedule for line 62-64 from the linked page. Note, however, that most of the buses on this line stop at the train station in Peschiera del Garda (Peschioera F.S.), so you could save a lot of time by getting of the train in Peschiera and transferring to the bus there.

You can check train schedules and prices here: http://www.ferroviedellostato.it/ferrovi...

Boat schedules on Lago Garda are here: http://www.navigazionelaghi.it/eng/gar/n...

Malcesine is one of my favorite places on the lake, have a great time!

  2. you can get only by bus becouse there isn't a railway station in Malcesine

  3. There's a shuttle bus to the station. Then you can get a train to Peschiera del Garda.  It's about a kilometre to the imbarcadero, and then you can get a hydrofoil to Malcesine.

It's probably a lot easier to arrange a private transfer.
