I want to travel to Mexico, and I have just solicited the USA residence. What would happen if I leave?

I know punishments exist if I abandon the process, I would like to know which are they, and if there is another way to do this avoiding them

before you travel to Mexico? please be patient and get all your residence papers in hand before leaving, this is advice only, you may do as you wish, but ;careful if you cannot come back to the US soil ? patience.............

if you were to abandon, you might just perhaps lose all your rights to live in the US ,

Telephone the nearest office of the Immigration and Naturalization Service. Speak with someone who knows the answer es to your questions.
