I want to travel to another country. What do I need? HELP.?

I turn 18 next april and I have been saving up for a trip outside of the US. I would like to go to the UK. What do I need? How hard is it to go there? I just need to know everything. Please.

If you are planning on visiting the UK, the first thing you need is a passport, the second thing is a return ticket to your country of origin (customs will not let you in country without it) and last... a ton of money.  The UK is a very expensive place for most foreign visitors.  One pound is equal to around $2.  It will not be long before the reality sets in.  For instance, average lunch at McDonalds 12-15 pounds= 24-30 dollars.

Another thing of which to be aware is that most hotels charge per person instead of per room... especially the more individual hotels, B&Bs and so on.  You can find chain hotels that will charge per room in the cities and along motorways.

All you need is to get a passport or have the original copy of your birth certificate to show at the Airport..Easy...ENJOY!!!  HUGS!!
