I want to travel to pavia for 1 month. what are advices? how can I have cheap trip or tour for other cities?

Pavia is a nice town not far from Milan. there are a lot of interesting things to see there. It is very easy to get around in Italy using the train system. You can use the Italian train website to check schedules and prices to other places you might be interested in visiting: http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html

It's only about a half hour to Milan on the train. Other places that are interesting: Genova, Cinque Terre (enter Monterosso for the destination), Como, Bergamo, Parma, Verona, Venice, Florence, and Rome. With a month you may have enough free time to do a lot of exploring and the train is a perfect way to do it here in Italy.
