  1. Madrid is really scenic, try there!!!

  2. Tenerife, Lisbon

  3. Barcelona   hurry up and you can watch the race this weekend.

  4. I spent a week in Seville and just loved it.

It has enough to see that you really can stay there for a week, setting out each day to explore new things, and you don't get bored. And there were so many great restuarants with incredible food, we really enjoyed eating!

The climate is really warm, we went in October and were wearing light summer clothing.

Seville is in an area of Spain which was heavily influenced by the Moors, so there is really intereting North African architecture and design influence.

Beware of some of the other answers... Mallorca is NOT anywhere NEAR the Riviera - it is an Island!!! And it's OK if you really like beaches... but isn't as nice or typically Spanish as Seville or Barcelona. And Lisbon is in Portugal, not Spain...

Madrid is nice, but it's also kind of like a typical big European city... doesn't have as much charm or unique feeling as Seville.

  5. How long do you have to visit Spain? It is a big country and has lots to offer. My favorite city is Barcelona - but Granada, Seville and Madrid have a lot to offer as well.

If you have at least a week, visit Barcelona for 3 days and take the train to Madrid for 3 days. From Madrid you can also take some day trips to Toledo

If you want to visit some smaller towns - good beach towns are Nerja and Tarifa.

The white villages are also very cool - Ronda and Arcos de la Frontera.

This site also has some good itineraries depending on how much time you have: http://www.ricksteves.com/plan/destinati...

  6. Madrid for it's old-charm feel.  The Prado ranks up there with the Louvre.  And if you can, take the train to Toledo for a day trip.  Have a great time!

  7. Go to Barcelona........its everything.......history..romance...beac... etc. If you have time.....fly over to Palma di Mallorca for nicer beaches

  8. madrid has a lot of fun things to see

  9. Barcelona, its looks very nice.

  10. BARCELONA! You can enjoy strolling in Las Ramblas with all the flower stools and stop for a refreshing drink in any of the many outdoor cafes before going to admire the best gaudi's architecture with the impressive church of Sagrada Familia (look at it in google images if you don't know what it is, it's so impressive! and it's not even finished yet!), Park Guell, Casa Mila and Casa Batllo... If you like football, you can watch a match of Barcelona Football Team (which will be proclaimed the best in Europe in 3 weeks time if we can beat Arsenal) in the biggest football stadium in Europe. But make sure you keep some energy to enjoy the city's night life! Afterward, you can take a break from the big city and go just a few km north to spend a relaxing week in the Costa Brava, where the rocky beaches will leave you speechless and also you'll be able to stimulate your cultural side by visiting Dali's house in Figueres. Also, check out for festivals in the area for the daes you'll be there for, there are literally festivals going on every single week of the year in places not too far from the city.

  12. I don't know your age but Barcelona is great for young AND older people. You won't regret it.
