I want the trip to include; 2x Nights in a nice hotel, 2x Tickets to see Grease, Rail Travel, Trip on the London Eye, and a pre-theatre meal. I want to go on the 14th of July. The best price I can get is £468 all in. Can I get this cheaper anywhere else..?

  1. You don't say where you are travelling from so can't help you on the travel front.  Sometimes there are saver tickets if your times are flexible and it can sometimes be cheaper to book two one way tickets rather than a return.  Call National Rail Enquiries for more info.  www.nationalrail.co.uk As for the theatre and the meal, deals can certainly be done on this.  Again you don't say where you have already checked.  www.lastminute.com is a good place for deals involving theatre and pre-theatre meals and they are very good value.  Obviously the price of drinks may hike up the price so check to see if it includes a glass of champagne.  If you don't have your heart set on grease then you could possibly get a better deal if you can be flexible about which musical you see (they're all good).  As for hotel then this is going to be the most expensive part of your trip.  Again try on www.lastminute.com and also check www.laterooms.com and check on www.tripadvisor.com to read reviews of the place from people who have stayed there before you book it.  The Stand Palace Hotel on the Strand is always very good and is 3 star with hundreds of rooms.  Prices vary depending on when you stay so check on the laterooms website for latest prices.  To be honest 468 for travel, dinner, theatre, london eye and hotel sounds about right - London is not cheap!

  2. Rail travel to and from where?

That's a fairly OK package as it is but you can probably save money by booking everything individually and hunting out the bargain prices for each thing separately.

  3. Have you checked out the Superbreak site? They have some good deals and are reliable.

  4. you may be able to get it cheaper if you do a bit of surfing and book everything separately yourself.

  5. Thats a good deal. London hotels are expensive, well the decent ones anyway? I'd go with that deal! your girlfriend is a lucky lady!!

  6. That sounds alright.  Though as suggested you might want to try booking separately.  Check out:

http://www.lastminute.com/ - they do deals for meals and theatre tickets in addition to hotels

  7. I doubt it. Try www.laterooms.com =]

  8. We always use The Lancaster Hall Hotel between and close to Paddington and Lancaster Gate stations, so very close to Hyde Park. It is superbly clean and very reasonable. It used to be the German YMCA and is still subsidised by the German Government. You could have a double Room, or cheaper take a twin room in the Youth Wing.

  9. Thats for nothing as it is.just pay the money, stingy.
