  1. Tandoori chicken...!!!

  2. i think it has 2 be tandoori chicken or chicken biryani or naan n paneer tikka masala or chicken tikka masala, or aloo paratha

  3. Butter chicken with saffron rice.

    Chai tea.

  4. Tandoori chicken is very popular.  Not highly seasoned and baked in a clay pot.

Curry - you can order it mild to spicy.

Naan - flatbread, good for sopping up curry

    Mango lassi - a smoothie!

  5. saag paneer

  6. Try a Korma (chicken korma, if you're not vegetarian) and work up from there.

  7. as many have said, find a lunch buffet as it's the best way to start as you can get a sampling.  tandoori chicken is the most basic and you can't go wrong.  naan is their lovely lovely soft bread that you scoop up all the goodies with.  i like saag which is like creamed spinach.  samosas are just vegetable fritters and not at all threatening.  i can't think of the name of it, but they have a meatball dish in a tomato based sauce that is good.  then you can move up to curries, the lamb dishes, and so on.

  8. if u want to try  have a onion chappti with curd

bicause  indin food is very spicy  many people cant it spicy

  9. I would suggest you try a mild lamb or chicken curry paste.

I was uncertain what a Peking Duck flavouring would be like, and I was able to find some Peking Duck crackers.

I liked the taste and then bought a Peking Duck Cook in the Pot and followed the recipe and had a great casserole. I didn't waste a heap of stuff because I didn't like the taste.

  10. If you can find an Indian buffet, that would be a good place to try a lot of different things.

However, an ala carte restaurant, naan bread, somosas and paneer spinach is mild and delicious.  Tandori chicken is good.  If you don't mind the spices and exotic flavors, that opens up the entire menu.

Talk to the server and tell them your likes and dislikes and they'll be able to make suggestions.

  11. many places have a lunch buffet, try many new dishes at the same time. I like curry lamb and spinach

  12. tandoori chicken and butterchicken is usually ALWAYS a hit even with ma friends who say they dont like spicy food or certain spices.

  13. Chicken Tikki Masala

  14. I would go for chicken tandoori if your not vegetarian. Or try chapati wraps (like tortilla) filled with curried vegetables.

  15. go to  yumyum.com  and click on Indian food. there is quite a variety of ethnic foods there

  16. For an appetizer, try the veggie samosas. Experiment with the spicy onion chutney and the sweet tamarind sauce.

For the main dish, try the Chicken (or meat of your choice) Korma. It has cashews and raisins in it with a coconut milk sauce/gravy that's so delicious, you'll want to l**k the plate!

Don't forget the Butter Naan bread.

    Good Luck! :)

  17. Definitely Chicken Korma or Chicken Tikka. They're both mild (not spicy), but Korma is probably the less spicier one. There could be Lamb Korma or Tikka on the menu, so there is quite a lot of choice really :)
