I want to try black contact lenses and im wondering will it affect my eyes if i change brands of contacts?

I am now using acuvue2 brand and the contacts i want are softlens. And also where do you find the prescription on the box of contact lenses?

  1. It does not matter usually to change brands on contacts.  If you are looking at getting wild eyes or something similar to those, you have to be fit for them.  Those types of lenses usually only come in 1 or 2 sizes and they have pupil holes that you have to look through.  They do not fit everyone and will interfere with your vision if they are not fitted properly.  Before you change contacts please be sure to have your doctor fit you with the new kind.   The numbers on contact Rx are not always standard across types and brands of contacts.  Also, your contact Rx is usually only written for a specific brand/type.

    To read your contact Rx, you need to look on the box for where (usually the end) you will find the following:  BC, Diam and numbers.
