  1. if you want to get on the coach's good side be sure to be a leader and work hard. most coach's don't just focus on if you are an amazing tennis player, i'm not saying they aren't looking at you ability but they also want to see your work ethics. if you work hard and compete well then they can help you with your game because that's what they are there for and they will know you want to improve. also tennis try outs can be pretty intense if you haven't been conditioning out in the sun. start hydrating a couple days before :)

    best wishes :)

  2. if you can hit the ball over the net more than 90 percent of the time on easy feeds ur pretty much on the team......and if ur school/district tournaments include a freshman team like mines then ur pretty much on the team unless ur whole graduating class tries out so while ur on the freshman team and in the class improve ur game as much as possible ....u dont want to get left behind

  3. honestly everyone makes it as long as youre decent

i mean if you cant hit you wont get in

but if the ball goes in you will get in

honestly when i tried out I SUCKED! i couldnt hit sh*t but i guess the coach liked me cause i got in

  4. Wow 9 seniors left the team?! That sounds like my situation. Show up to practice on time everyday, and if you can't, be sure to let the coach know in advance. Talk to him/her about the team and make sure they know you're really interested in trying out. Other than that, try to get in a lot of practice during the weekends and whenever you have time, just so you can get better. Good luck!
