I want to understand football better?

I am playing football this year, slotback and im not getting some of the rules and what not, such as proper position and really anything that has to do with playing the game, do you know any websites or resources that can help me?

Coach, yes, but perhaps you are asking here so you don't have to ask the coach (and risk looking dumb to your friends)?  In that case, WATCH WATCH WATCH!  However the coach is there to help! Ask them in private rule clarifications or for old game tapes to comprehend the game if you are worried about peers poking fun at you.
