I have a PCI Express slot, DDR2 SDRAM memory, if that matters. It has to have DVI output (using VGA now to a Samsung LCD, has DVI input) , or HDMI output which I could convert to DVI.

Cmon, take the time to respond, it's me b-day.

Anything else I need to know before buying the card?

  2. For $120 you can get an 8800GT.

That's really the best card that you're going to get in that price range, and it's a solid card for all of today's games.

When you start talking about the 8800GTS 512MB, 9800GTX or ATI 4850 and 4870, you're looking at $175-250.
