I want to use a hot glue gun on building somethin for my hamster.?

it depends:

If you do please make sure the glue is mostly out of the way of the gerbils. Clean all the extra glue you don't need and make sure they can't chew or nibble off any glue that you put in

Make sure the glue is non-toxic in case they ever do eat some of the glue in case it might kill them! and you don't want that!

This is pretty much common sense but make sure it still isn't hot or sticky when you put your hamsters back in the cage!

If you put them in and soon they are starting to eat the glue, then become sick. Talk to your vet and remove all the glue possible. But hopefully it should work out

No, not safe unless it is away from your hamster's reach (which is very rare). Hamsters tend to nibble or gnaw on anything they can get their teeth into and unless this glue to toxic tested on animals (which is rare), it is better not to use it in areas accessible to hamsters.

i would not recommend doing that for your hamster cuz if your hamster gets to it and starts eating or comsuming part of it then it might get sick or even die. a hot glue gun is toxic. so u should find a non toxic glue so in case your hamster gets to it, then it will not hurt it. hope this helps

Most glues which are used in hot glue guns aren't non-toxic.

You need to find a non-toxic glue AND wait for it to dry after you've made whatever it is- glue isn't non-toxic until it's dry.

You know,I would rather be safe than sorry.We don't really know if the glue you have in your glue gun is poisonous or not.

Abandon the idea of making something for your hamster and buy whatever it was that you were trying to make ,at a pet store.
