I have 2 passports, and I want to change my name Sachi to my middle name patricia.but there is a problem,in my japanese passport my name is ''Sachi Kamiya'',and the other passport it is ''Sachi Patricia Kamiya''.I want to change it when when I move to america, but will use my japanese passport to make all my documents and stuff,so my parents say that you can only use the name ''sachi'' at america.will it be a problem if I say my name is ''Sachi Patricia Kamiya''and say that I want to be called by patricia, not sachi?

  1. if you want to change your name in your passport, you will most likely have to file forms for a legal name change.  Then get new passports to reflect this change.  You can always keep your name and just have people call you patricia.

  2. I think that there is going to be a problem before you even get to your name.  You do not say what country that you want to move to in America, but I would say that any country would see a red flag with you having two passports from two different countries.  I would forget about changing your name and  confusing the issue any more than it already is...good luck
