Dadar Central railway station and Mumbai Central Bus stand both have facilities for cloak rooms where you can dump your luggage while you go and visit some other places and see around. While using the cloak room facility to keep your luggage see that it does not contain any food stuff. There are rats and mice in the cloak room and they damage your luggage. I had a bitter experience of this. Otherwise it is safe and convenient.
